Excellence in every way. It is hard to describe how brilliant this hotel and it's marvellous team of staff is. It is a quintisentially British Hotel with the outstanding cleanliness and upkeep seldom found in the most luxurious hotels - and I've stayed in a few - across the world. I'd you're looking for a treat, a blast from the past with all the modern expectations whilst maintaining heritage standards of service - this is the place.

Our group of five stayed in three rooms and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was unbeatable — right by the sea, with breathtaking views from the moment we arrived. Each of our rooms was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with thoughtful extras like bathrobes, slippers, bottled water, and plenty of tea and coffee. The staff were exceptional. Every single member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A truly memorable highlight was when the owner learned that we were walking 100 miles along the South Downs Way for charity — without hesitation, he made a generous personal donation to our cause. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture that meant a lot to all of us. The food was another standout. All meals were table service, and everything we had was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The waiters were absolutely fantastic — attentive, friendly, and couldn’t give us enough of what we asked for, ensuring every meal was perfect from start to finish. As a group, we all agreed this hotel gets everything right — from comfort and cleanliness to service and those personal touches that make all the difference. We’d return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it highly enough.

The moment you step through the doors of The Langham Hotel, Eastbourne, you are welcomed with a level of hospitality that is simply exceptional. The staff combine impeccable professionalism with genuine warmth and service, that truly sets the standard. The comprehensive menu continues to impress, with every dish bursting with flavour and creativity. Whether you prefer fine dining or comforting classics, there is something to delight every palate. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and many offer stunning sea views that make waking up a joy. Whether for a relaxing getaway or a special occasion, The Langham delivers an unforgettable experience. A highlight for residents or non-residents, is surely the lunchtime speakers, truly amazing! Stars such as Anita Harris, Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz, and the incredibly talented Tony Harris (so popular he even has a waiting list!) bring exceptional entertainment. Any guest staying or even an off-site visitor attending a lunchtime meal with a speaker will not be disappointed. Don’t miss out, book a stay at The Langham soon; you will be delighted you did. My stay at The Langham Hotel was just perfect. There is so much attention paid to every detail. The staff are efficient & welcoming. The hotel is a lovely blend of Victoriana with a contemporary edge. Lots of interesting artwork, a truly wonderful dining experience, wonderful view and great location for shops, theatre, bus trips. The owner Neil Kirby was kind enough to send Prosecco to our table to mark a special birthday celebration! A very memorable experience. Naturally I can thoroughly recommend The Langham. Thank you one and all.

This is a very comfortable and welcoming hotel, sensibly priced, very well run and maintained with comfortable rooms and great friendly service. Location is great with the beach just across the road and a short walk into town, even if it is at the “wrong” end (ie not the smart end) of the front. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all good and good value. Decent bar. Older clientele when we visited, but out of season that’s to be expected and part of the charm. Recommend for solid quality and value.

What a lovely warm, inviting, friendly hotel! Great room. Great location. Brilliant staff also. The owners are lovely, the reception dest staff can't do enough for you, the breakfast staff were fast and one flamboyant man was funny and attentive, the waiters and waitresses in the evening fast and efficient, bar staff are great and the cleaners... they were great, they also couldn't do enough and all with a smile. This was our experience anyway, honestly couldn't fault it. The place was clean and the food was delicious although I could eat more but then I'm a gannet. We'll be back!
